 There are 1440 minutes in a day.

24 x 60 =1440 

Where 24 is number of hours in a day and 60 is  number of minutes in an hour.

Alternatively you can also calculate numbers of seconds in a day.

24x60x60= 86400 seconds in a day.

There are seven days a week.
